Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how VanDrop quotes, bookings, collections, deliveries, payments, and platform access are handled.

Last updated: 7 May 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the VanDrop website, quoting tools, booking flow, customer account features, and courier or logistics services arranged through the platform.

By requesting a quote, creating a booking, or using VanDrop account features, you agree to these terms. If you book on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to them.

2. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are generated from the information you provide, including pickup and delivery addresses, package type, vehicle requirements, timing, and any additional handling needs. A quote does not become a confirmed service until the relevant booking and payment steps are completed.

You are responsible for ensuring that booking details are accurate. If addresses, parcel size, weight, contents, access restrictions, or timing details are incomplete or incorrect, VanDrop may need to revise pricing, reschedule the job, or decline the booking.

  • Quotes are subject to availability, route feasibility, and operational acceptance.
  • Collection and delivery times are estimates unless a specific service window has been expressly confirmed.
  • Additional charges may apply where the actual job differs materially from the quoted job.

3. Customer responsibilities

You must package items safely and appropriately for transport. Items should be clearly identified where needed and made available for collection at the agreed time.

You must not book prohibited, dangerous, unlawful, perishable, or inadequately packaged items through the service unless VanDrop has expressly agreed to handle them.

  • Provide accurate sender and recipient contact details.
  • Ensure collection and delivery locations are safely accessible.
  • Disclose any heavy, oversized, fragile, or high-value contents before booking.

4. Delivery service and limitations

VanDrop arranges and operates courier services across Ireland using available drivers and vehicle types suitable for the booking. Delivery windows, ETA updates, and tracking statuses are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may be affected by traffic, weather, access delays, or operational disruption.

VanDrop may refuse, pause, or cancel a delivery where safety, legal compliance, fraud concerns, or vehicle suitability issues arise.

5. Payment, cancellations, and changes

Pricing shown during the booking flow is intended to be transparent and VAT-inclusive where stated. Payment terms may differ for consumer bookings and approved business accounts.

If you need to change or cancel a booking, you should do so as early as possible. VanDrop may charge for late changes, failed collections, waiting time, or cancelled jobs where driver time or route capacity has already been committed.

6. Loss, damage, and claims

VanDrop aims to deliver all items with reasonable care. If an item is lost, damaged, or delayed, any claim should be reported promptly with the booking reference and supporting details.

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and may be reduced or excluded where loss arises from inadequate packaging, inaccurate information, force majeure, or prohibited contents.

7. Accounts, website use, and suspension

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for activities carried out using your account. VanDrop may suspend access where misuse, fraud, or security concerns arise.

You must not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service for unlawful activity.

8. Contact and updates

VanDrop may update these terms from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. The latest version will appear on this page with the revised effective date.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page or the support routes available on the site.
